The cat is upset because Mandie is home and sleeping in "her majesties" bed. Little does my sister know what kind of disruptions she's caused! The cat is now circling through my room, asking if she can sleep on the bed. Since Spencer wouldn't take too kindly to this, I had to refuse her so she's sleeping beside my desk. I don't know why.
Spent the weekend moving said sister into her new house. She came home with us because there was a birthday party today. Lots and lots of kids! Z has started to pretend he's a dog. It's very cute! And he was imitating me today, trying to get Spencer's attention by clapping and yelling "Hey" (which is a sort of universal thing I do when this group gets together - they all stop when I do it so it works well) which had us all in stitches. He's getting so big. Hard to believe that R is 5 today and Z is nearly 2!!!!! They grow up so fast!
The other sister was lamenting about birthday parties with small boys today. A neighborhood child decided to "color" her van with a ROCK during the kid birthday party yesterday. Yes, you can imagine the damage that it did. He's seems to be completely in awe of his work still, proud of it even when he was getting yelled at. Kind of in awe of HIM, seeing as he should have been in tears. I'm wondering if we don't have a problem on our hands in the coming years!
Finished the second Jax book by Ann Aguirre. LOVED IT! I'm reading a bit of everything at the moment... which means I finish NOTHING. Oh well.
Lar Cards is really taking off. That makes me happy... although I didn't get any ready to take in and stock tomorrow. Oops! Just thought of it. I enjoy creating and seem to be getting my own little fan base! Hooray! Now I need to start working on the stamp for the back of them! Maybe when Doodle is home for this period of "let's get ready for the wedding" she'll help me design it... because she has nothing better to do with her time!
Diving back into fanfic again these days. It fills the time and I'm currently at a loss for what to do with the hook in the org I'm writing. Just need to exercise the muscles!
If I'm going to be back on LJ, maybe I'll see about buying icon space again. Kinda boring to only have 5 icons... but no ads! Hooray!
