My heart is hurting right now for a friend of mine. Actually, she's a really good friend of my sister's that I never really paid much attention to until I moved back. She and I move in some of the same circles and so I see her more often and we've grown to be pretty good friends. Besides, her kids love me! *grins* She and her husband are having a tough time of things. I chatted with her for a bit tonight and I hope I helped. Sometimes I wonder if what I have to say really helps or people just say that to give themselves time to run far, far away.
It's snowing! First time in about a week since we haven't been under an inversion. Not that we were complaining! We had sun when most of the rest of the state had FOG... and not the pretty kind but the kind that you could eat if you were hungry enough.
I have done three chapters of my Pharmacy Technician Certification study manual. Mostly, I remember stupid things like... Imhotep was the first physician named in the written history of the world as we know it. Yep. That's the sort of thing I remember when I do stuff like this. Haven't started the math part of it but I know about half the sig codes I'm supposed to know! Sweet!
