A quick post before I head out...
Dec. 17th, 2009 08:40 pm1. I've got to quit going to the coffee shop before I actually eat lunch. I think the coffee is starting to mess with my stomach! Grrrr...
2. Came over to Randye's house to use her internet and got some birthday cake to boot! Can't say no to cake! Well, some people can but I'm not one of them.
3. Another cold weather advisory popped up again tonight. I don't like arctic weather and I'm tired of Canada sending it to us! Stay there, cold weather! Stay where you belong!
4. Coworker is going to give me an ulcer. I swear she does stupid things just to give me something to do later on. Why am I the only one taking responsibility for my actions? I swear... if I were a meaner person...
5. There was this very nice older lady who had someone bring in a bunch of hats she knitted and I grabbed one that nearly matches the scarf that my sister made me a couple years ago. I'm not much of a hat person because my head is so freaking huge but I think it might work. At least it covers up my ears.
6. Haven't been sleeping well, which in this case means that I can't fall asleep well and I want to stay in bed all morning. I think it's the weather. And the time of year. I'm always mildly depressed this time of year (which is one of the reasons I would just boycott Christmas altogether if I could) so I just go with the flow and hope that January brings something better my way!
7. Realized from No. 2 that I haven't gotten Randye anything for her birthday. Such a horrible friend! Will have to do something about that tomorrow.
8. Still working on drabbles so keep giving me ideas if you have them. Really need to get more words in my JossBigBang fic but it's still early days yet. I work so much better under pressure. Maybe I should put more pressure on myself? Hmmm... wonder if that would work. I doubt it.
9. I made Jell-O with dried cranberries in it last night. Had some for lunch. Cranberries aren't really a Jell-O type of fruit. Bummer!
10. I sure hope I can get all my shopping done this weekend or everyone will be getting candles from the store I work at. Nothing says holiday cheer like a gift that comes from the heart. *grins*
